FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS -Art workshops in Ireland
WHAT IF I'M NOT EXPERIENCED IN ART, IS THIS STILL FOR ME?
Yes, all of our Art workshops in Ireland courses are intended for anyone who is a beginner or an intermediate painter looking to improve .We also work with more experienced painters who simply need Hugh O’Neill’s knowledge of painting and the local area. Each course is different and is dependent on the nature of the group. Mr O’Neill varies the content to keep it lively and fun, whilst ensuring that you go home with work you’re proud of.
CAN I BRING A FRIEND/PARTNER WHO DOESN'T WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE ART CLASSES?
Yes, non-participants are welcome and there are plenty of activities around the area or just time and space to relax while we are in class. They are welcome to come along on day trips and participate in any activity as they would like. Most partners and non painters love to come with the painters as we combine short visits to historic places and scenic beauty. Some non painters prefer to golf, shop walk,or simply do nothing at all.We will help make all these arrangements in conjunction with painting itinerary

WHAT IF THE WEATHER IS BAD
We always have plan b and c and even d to ensure you get the maximum enjoyment for every minute you are in our care.Rather than get into all details here, we simply adjust the itinerary to suit ,that may include an indoor element or going to a beautiful location that is under cover from the rain but still outdoors.Or go to the local Irish pub and sing an Irish song together.I will bring my guitar

HOW LONG ARE EACH DAY EXCURSIONS
The official time is 6 hours with Hugh O’Neill teaching and as your guide per day. However travel time to locations and returning, or visiting historic landmarks could add total time to 8 hours. So you leave at 9 am you will all return by 5 or 6pm to Pick up point again at SLIEVE DONARD HOTEL front door or at the Burrendale hotel https://www.burrendale.com/
We do not charge extra for anything other than ask should driving time extend beyond a certain range beyond 6pm we all simply chip in a bit with small donation to fuel cost and even then it’s not mandatory. This may happen when as a group we all want to visit a local pub with early evening Irish music or a festival event. The local taxi service is superb so in many occasions the group will simply use this service if needed.
